Talk about southern hospitality! Amy & Mike were the most amazing hosts- and their ranch is so so beautiful. Their family was incredible and showed us the most amazing time. From fishing in the lake, the friendly ranch dogs, the beautiful pool, nature walks on the ranch, horse back rides, the peacocks, and the house itself. Everything was perfect. The eggs and toast in the morning, burgers with a glass of wine on the lake at night, banana bread and coffee for a mid day snack. My husband and I went as a mini getaway for our anniversary and it’s now a place we’ll be going back to every year. Lonesome Wind Ranch is the best air bnb we’ve stayed in yet. Don’t hesitate to book! :)

What can I tell, It was our second stay at Lonsome Wind Ranch and actually this says it all :-). We would recommand it to everyone and hope we will be able to return again one day. It's quiet and away from it all and still very close to all the attractions San Antonio has to offer. The owner and her family is realy sweet and they make you feel at home from the first moment on. The pool area is great, really relaxing and so is the pond where you can feed ducks and fish. They are having a lot of horses and three friendly dogs as well as some sheeps, a donkey and a cat. So there was a lot of fun stuff to do for our three year old. The owners live upstairs and are just a call away if you need them or if you like to get more involved in their ranch live but giving you full privacy whenever you feel like.

Beautiful property, pool and pond were great. Great location, out of town but close enough that you can get what you need quickly. Mike was a great host, responds quickly and very helpful, he gave my kids pointers on where the best places to catch fish are at the pond. Wonderful experience for my family.

A great place to get away from city life. Very relaxing and comfortable. We would definitely go back. The peacocks were beautiful and the great Danes were very hospitable. Make sure you spend time exploring the farm and the pond.
