Great location in a peaceful neighborhood. Pier is short and narrow. Keurig machine had dirty brown gunky water in it and old filter that hadn’t been changed and all we brought were Kcups. We resorted to dumping out the grounds in the kcups to pour in the drip maker only to realize it had a broken piece, the spring where the filter drips into the pot was not attached. Just inconvenient when you have a full house of coffee drinkers. Grill was NOT clean at all and both propane tanks were empty within 5 mins of using the grill. Pulled a blanket out of one of the bedrooms only to notice a bunch of brown stains all over it, a little gross in my opinion. Disappointed with strict check in and check out policy. You really lose a whole day that you pay for with a late check in time and early check out time, never been charged extra fee for requesting early check in until this place. Overall we enjoyed our time in Chincoteague, just some minor hiccups. Highly suggest two trash bins!

Everything neat and clean, whatever you needed was there. I sent a question that I had and got an immediate response. I may book again for next year!

Overall, we had a nice stay. Bedrooms are good size, living room is comfortable and televisions in all BR and LR. Excellent communication throughout our stay. The private pier and picnic area across the street are amazing. Kitchen was stocked with many dishes, pots and pans, and some residual spices left from previous guests. The house was visually clean but needed some detailing. Previous guest did not 100% clean the pans (residual food remained) window blinds in 1st floor BR v. dusty, and only 1 dishtowel was provided for the 4 days. Plenty of TP & paper towels. We went down Thurs-Sun & did not realize the impact of a 4PM check-in and 10AM check-out (my mistake). It means you're not getting a full 24 hours on your check-in and check out day. We requested a late check out (12-1PM) and we were told 'no', that the owner was coming to make some improvements. We were later offered an opportunity to extend our stay for a discounted price.

We loved our stay! The beautiful sunsets in the evening on the porch and pier were just what we needed. The house has a ton of character and was perfect for our needs. Extremely helpful hosts! We hope to return sometime in the future.
