This was beautiful condo, however the dust mite infestation almost ruined the weekend. We actually had to buy insect repellant to tolerate the dust mites. It seemed as though we were the first tenants in months. The place was full of dust. I would suggest that a thorough cleaning and vacuuming is done the day of rental. That way all dust mites would be cleared out and guest could enjoy what they paid for. The last beach house we rented from Vacasa was beautiful and clean. This condo was a big disappointment, especially for the cost.

We had mixed feelings about staying at the Shark Finn. Pros: - LOCATION! There aren't many ocean front condos of this size and the view is absolutely amazing. It was lovely opening up the sliding glass doors and listening to the waves all day long. Parking is easy, as there is ample free street parking in addition to the 2 assigned spaces and you can literally walk right out onto the beach. - Size. The five bedrooms are all very good size and the 3.5 bathrooms are very spacious, especially the master. There are plenty of spots to sit and relax, and there are 2 dining tables. The kitchen is also large and equipped with 2 dishwashers and a huge fridge. We did not use them, but there is a washer and dryer as well. - Nearby. The building is walkable to many restaurants and attractions and is a very short drive to the grocery store, gas, etc. We had everything we needed right there. Cons: - The condo is in dire need of updating. It looks amazing on the surface, but when you look more closely, there are definitely issues. There are broken blinds in all 3 bedrooms with windows (2 do not have windows), the carpet needs replacing, there were drawers in the kitchen filled with what seemed like trash, and the pots/pans/utensils, etc. in the kitchen all need to go. We were glad to have brought much of our own so we didn't have to use what was there. It feels like the home for hand-me-downs. Some of the chairs on the balcony are rusty as well. - Mattresses are fine for a night or two, but I would not want to spend a week on any of them. - Electric can opener didn't work, which was really interesting when trying to make chili. - The ceiling fan and light dimmer system is very difficult to get right. There are remotes in every room, which is great, but they didn't always work, some remotes turned on fans and lights in multiple rooms (surprise darkness!), and sometimes the lights just dimmed on their own. All of that said, we enjoyed our stay and some in our party are ready to book again. We said to ourselves several times, "well, it's a rental and not a hotel," but on the other hand, when you book a trip, you like things to work. For our purposes--a quiet off-season weekend with friends--it was completely fine. I don't think I would do a multi-family trip with kids here in the summer though. Shout out to the in-town Vacasa staff (they manage the property) who were all great and very responsive.

Location, location, location! Great beach at your feet, balcony for sunrises, and room for everyone. Large dining table, sofa, and a kitchen for many cooks makes this a family retreat. Some of the bedrooms don’t have windows and can feel claustrophobic. The hvac system is unusually loud. We would come again.

The place is very good and the room is so big that I was stunned by it. Check-in and Check-out process was very convenient.
