Peaceful, well equipped little cottage with large, beautiful, secure garden. Good location not too far from A1 but far enough to be in lovely rural surroundings.
A delightful, cosy, relaxing home from home. Amazingly equipped kitchen. Beautiful garden. Such a wonderful stay. Lowri very responsive. The welcome food pack was lovely. Even the fluffy white towels smelled amazing.
From one host to another - we had a beautiful stay at Greenloaning, we were so sad to leave the lovely village and the locals. We’ve stayed in both properties of Lowri’s and we don’t have 1 negative comment about any of them!! Unfortunately on the day of leaving I hit a very large hole in Holy Island leaving my wheel buckled, Lowri was quick to respond to offer us to stay in the house for longer for shelter and to make a cup of tea while we wait for the AA - this was extremely heart warming after a stressful moment to start our 3 hour journey back down south. I had my 3 year old daughter with me and my 2 huskies all of which absolutely loved the beautiful enclosed garden!! The weather was on our side for the duration of our stay, the play park is seconds walk from the house which my little girl very much enjoyed. Just Thank You, we hope to return to both houses again in the future. I could say so much more about our stay!! 🏡
We enjoyed a lovely three night break away at Greenloaning. The cottage was beautiful and so homely and comfortable. Lowri left us a great welcome pack which was a lovely gesture and there was plenty of information about local attractions. The garden is fabulous and it is a really peaceful spot- ideal for exploring the east coast and borders!
Really peaceful, beautiful cottage. Good sized bedrooms, really comfy beds and amazing, large secure garden that the dog loved so much whilst we sat and enjoyed the views on the comfy patio furniture. Allanton Inn very friendly with delicious meals but also the kitchen was well equipped if cooking at home. Welcome pack provided was so nice and thoughtful touch. Lots of leaflets, DVD’s and games to enjoy in front of the fire on a colder day. Highly recommend with lots of things to see and do nearby. Thank you!

I live with my husband, my three children, 5 hens and a cockerel called Jocky in a farmhouse just outside Coldstream. We started renting out Greenloaning in 2014 and I absolutely love it. We have met some lovely people and nothing gives me greater pleasure than making the cottage nice for our guests and there is no bigger compliment than seeing them return each year.
