This was our first trip to North Captiva. The island and Green Tortuga were perfect for our family of 5! The island is still recovering from hurricane Ian so there is quite a bit of construction, but the house felt brand new as did most of the surrounding houses. More amenities than were even listed. The kitchen was fully stocked and everything was clean and organized. Grocery delivery was much easier than expected and our host was very responsive if we needed anything. Lots of pool and deck furniture to relax on as well as games, bikes and paddle boards for use at the house. Would definitely visit again and stay at Green Tortuga!
We found your tropical home to be perfect for our family. The bedrooms were spacious, beds were comfortable and everything was excellent quality. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub but had some trouble keeping the temp up. Golf-carting around was fun and convenient. We biked and walked the nature preserve and found it beautiful and the beaches tranquil and private. Had our best shelling finds ever (and there have been many) there as well. Overall great time and perfect choice for our stay. Thank you!
Five stars across the board. We had a great time in North Captiva and loved everything about the Green Tortuga. Scott and Paula are thoughtful and generous hosts and the house had everything we needed. Warmly recommended.
We had a great time! The house is very close to the beach. We had everything needed at the house to cook meals and have a great time at the pool or after the beach. Paula (the owner) and Ally (the manager) had been great at responding messages and helping is with any questions we had. The place is beautiful, quiet and peaceful.

Hello We are a family that loves adventure and new experiences. We found North Captiva by accident and absolutely fell in love with the place last year. My husband is a landscape contractor in Michigan and I am a pediatric RN. Our family consists of 4 children (ages 8-30), 2 son in laws, 1 daughter in law and our first grandbaby.
