Come unplug from the world at the Cozy Corner, situated in one of the best small towns as recognized in the Ohio Magazine of 2018 & 2019. This is a quiet home that is centrally located. Enjoy a 5 minute walk to Treasure Island Park & stop to eat at the famous Boathouse Restaurant overlooking the river. A 2 minute drive will take you to our local hospital, the Hobart Welding School & all that downtown has to offer. The Dayton International Airport is just 23 minutes away. Pets are welcome. The Cozy Corner was built in the 1940s and since has gone through renovations. It is to be noted this home has its imperfections but we hope you will still be delighted in what it has to offer. In the living room you’ll find a big cozy red couch and plenty of books to curl up with. There is currently no TV and no WiFi in the home so this is the perfect place to unplug and recharge from the world. The bedrooms each have new queen beds and plenty of pillows to rest after a long day. You’ll find a desk in the front bedroom for those of you needing a place to study/work or those creative minds. The bathroom is on the smaller size and has a tub shower combo. The door to the bathroom is not a traditional door it is a sliding door. Some guests may not find it to provide as much privacy as they are used to. In the kitchen you will find new stainless steel appliances as well as a microwave that doubles as an air fryer. We have provided a coffee maker, filters and fresh coffee for your convenience. You’ll also see a mini waffle maker, basic cooking/baking set. Feel free to help yourself to any of the additional snacks (like buttered popcorn…yum!) and make yourself at home! Your pets are more than welcome to enjoy the space! Please remember to be courteous and clean up after your pet. Please do not leave your pet alone without being crated and for extended amounts of time. This can cause anxiety to your furry friend and destructive behavior which could potentially lead to injury. We want this to be a safe & calming space for all. Thank you. ❤️
