We had a great stay here! I was worried about what the emphasis on the house being older/not 5 star would mean for our stay, but basically it just meant some squeaky floors upstairs, being careful when we flushed, but getting to enjoy a place with character. Water pressure is great and both a/c units and fans are in all the rooms. Janet has supplied most everything one needs and it’s just a terrific place to spend time with close family or friends. Tastefully decorated and supplied. She also provides lots of great local tour and food info. Only protip, if you are a coffee addict like me, is make sure you bring yours. The house has a nice drip machine and filters.

We absolutely loved our stay and the pictures do not do the place justice. Extremely cozy, comfortable and clean. Perfect for a mother daughter ski trip weekend (or 3-4 couples) and Crystal Mountain was an easy 10 minute drive. Deer and rabbits came out every evening and we saw eagles flying over the lake in the morning. Lovely. Our time here was fabulous.
