My stay at "Sunnyside Up" was wonderful. The location (waterfront) was fabulous, the little cottage is charming, and the hosts were excellent. The sunrises over the Potomac River are gorgeous and you can watch them from the front porch or from your private pier. Sitting on the pier and being surrounded by water and wildlife is such a treat, and so relaxing. The hosts were very responsive. They even stopped over to show me how to use the "Smart Tv" when I reached out to them for some guidance (I'm not super tech savvy). I highly recommend this property. You will love your stay at "Sunnyside Up" when you visit the sweet town of Colonial Beach.

Sunnyside Up was everything we were hoping for. It is a sweet little cottage with a stunning view of the Potomac. It truly had that "beach cottage" feel. We had one small issue with the internet which Dan resolved immediately, so our stay was perfect. We can't wait to return!

Daniel and Scott were amazing hosts!! They took every measure to make sure we were comfortable and happy! Communication was excellent. Immediately responsive! The cottage is amazing! It was so comfortable and extremely clean and well stocked!! Just a wonderful experience!! The dock is over the top and the lighting at night was awesome!!

This is my first choice for a getaway and I’m always rejuvenated. I love this little cottage and so does my dog. We feel so at home here. Dan and Scott are awesome hosts. This place is a gem!
