5 stars for location. 2 stars for actual house. Bath upstairs does not drain, interior doors falling apart, saw a cockroach and ants in the house. Trundle bed trundle upstairs is broken. The house needs some Maintaince/ repairs to justify the price that is charged. The good- awesome location with direct beach access! Restaurant and bars very close. WiFi is pretty good.

This house was nice at one time, it’s really unfortunate there has been almost no upkeep. The doors were peeling, the ceiling by the dishwasher leaked, there were ants and cockroaches, the doors upstairs did not work, beds broken, and the boards on the upper deck on not nailed fully in. The beach access was damaged and unusable and the company never let us know beforehand and we had to walk in the neighbors yard to get to the beach. I understand that there was a hurricane a few weeks ago, but a notice would’ve been nice. Finally, the listing says towels are provided, they aren’t and you aren’t told this until right before. We spent $200 on beach towels which was avoidable if again, it had just been communicated. The location of this house is amazing and likely was the saving grace for the entire stay, the beach is essentially private it’s so empty.

The positive: spectacular location, beautiful beach, close to many restaurants. Kitchen fully stocked, bathroom had plenty of towels, bed was comfy and clean linens. The negative: house next door is undergoing remodeling/construction, so as you can imagine, it was very loud. Home is very old, entirely in wood so stairs to go upstairs are loud and creaky, you can hear the walking around upstairs from the old wooden floors. Some of the wood in bathrooms, bedrooms and bedroom ceiling had broken wood/holes. The access to beach from home hasn’t been kept, Lots of branches and debris to go through and deep slope to go down from gate access. High cleaning and service fee and are still expected to throw trash out, wash and put away dishes. For the price of the cleaning fee, I feel renters should be allowed to load the dishwasher and not have to make sure all dishes are put away as a check-out requirement.

The house was nice and matched the description. The location on the beach and near many restaurants was great. There are a few things which were disappointing. There are no beach amenities as stated. We rented beach chairs, umbrellas and bought beach towels. There are local rental options with fantastic service. Also there is a venue next door for weddings and does get quite loud. One wedding party was respectful and stopped by 11. The other did not. Not the fault of this rental but be aware. Treasure Island really is a nice place for vacation and we will likely return.

Location of the house is awesome! The kitchen was really nice and was well-stocked. The house needs a few updates (mostly relating to the AC, but it seems like new equipment has been installed just not turned on). The outdoor furniture needs to be replaced. The house was within walking distance to Caddy's, which is a cute little bar/grill.
