What a wonderful, relaxing experience. The cabin is nothing like we've ever stayed in before with the gorgeous views. All of the decor and amenities completely support a healthy, quiet experience. The family of eagles down the beach put on quite a show. One landed in near the waters edge, while we were relaxing by the fire. Just missed the fish. :) Plenty of adorable sitings such as sea lions, otters and seals. My husband caught site of a whale spouting last night. We will definitely return for much needed rest again. Yes, good idea to pack light, but completely worth the walk if you want a quiet place to relax

The home is a peaceful and quiet location right on the beach. You really feel like you’re floating on the water when you look out the windows. Everything inside was clean and as described in the listing. The best part is having a beautiful beach right next to the house for walks and enjoying the water. The host provided great local recommendations including Deadman Island Kayak, which was a super fun activity. The only challenge was getting in and out with too much stuff. We overpacked, which I wouldn’t recommend as carrying stuff to the house is a challenge and a little further than we anticipated. I would still highly recommend this place and really enjoyed my experience.

We had the most enjoyable and relaxing stay at the cottage! the cottage was easy to find and check into thanks to Phyllis’ detailed instructions and virtual guide (there is a 5 min walk from the parking lot). The cottage was quiet and the views were incredible - you’ll love going to sleep and waking up to Mt. Rainier as well as all the marine life. I appreciated that both bathrooms and the kitchen were very clean. We would love to visit again!

Bert special place. Note there is a 5-7 min walk (paved) to get there which may be limiting for some folks . You need to carry everything down (in your arms or in a (wheel barrow) … this kept my elderly mother from visiting as she wished,, still very special place and totally worth it …
