I loved staying here. I just wish I had more days to spend. I loved laying in bed and looking at the ocean. The house is very warm and welcoming. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. Parking is a little issue but the view is totally worth it to me. Gig Harbor is a fun town with many good restaurants and cool little shops. I would highly recommend staying here if you are an ocean lover and fan of beach living.

We loved our stay at Katrin'as place. It has lots of privacy with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The views were spectacular. And the kitchen was well stocked. We were there for Thanksgiving and had to make a couple of dishes to bring for a family get-together. The house is at the bottom of a hill and it's a bit of a walk from the parking area. Keep that in mind with the mobility of your group members and the amount of things you bring. It's well-paved. We would stay again.

We arrived after dark and before the timers for outdoor lighting came on so it was confusing, but Katrina and her husband talked us in. The rest of our stay was pure magic -- the view we had between rainfalls was The Magnificent Ranier towering behind the beautiful Tacoma skyline. A rare protected-endangered Stellar Sea Lion graced us with his company while feeding on abundant salmon right outside the waterfront deck. This one is a true treasure!!!

Our family of 4 adults stayed here 8 nights late June. (One slept on the couch which worked fine.) The cottage was very clean & comfortable. The deck was just wonderful every time of day. Lots of comfortable seating, a large umbrella, heat lamp, cozy blankets when needed, and a nice propane grill. Spectacular views of Mt Rainer. Fun watching the otters, seals & geese. A female deer with her two fawns walked along the shoreline one morning. Even though the deck faces east, the sunsets each evening were incredible. It was peaceful & quiet outside but there was always something to look at! The beds were comfortable and the cottage was very quiet for sleeping. The kitchen was very well stocked. We appreciated the supply of Keurig pods. It’s a beautiful, quaint walk to/from car. You do need to be in somewhat reasonable physical condition to enjoy that. It’s a bit uphill from cottage to car. The wheelbarrow was great! We liked the walk and loved this place! Great location!!

We really enjoyed our stay there.Nice ambience, very clean house. View from the deck is amazing. We felt cost is bit on higher side. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
