Where to start, Monica’s place has so much to offer, and it’s surrounded by beauty and wilderness, yet so close to everything. Very clean, and well thought, comfortable beds, big kitchen. Great outdoor seating, there is a even a lovely jacuzzi in the backyard, and yes, you can be comfortable and there is no one to see you, maybe some coyotes and deers :) The fire 🔥 place was fantastic, and Monica was so kind and sweet and accommodating. Best Airbnb I’ve stayed in Santa Cruz. The place is truly a sanctuary, you can cook, you can rest, play,…and sleep peacefully, go for long or short walks all around the property, we just loved it… our miniature schnauzer loved it a too. Thank you Monica 🙏🩷💕🐾⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A beautiful home in peaceful secluded spot surrounded by trees. The house is completely and beautifully furnished with everything you could need. We wish we could have stayed there for a longer time. A perfect place for our three generation gathering. Hosts were flexible, responsive and friendly. All in all, a great place!

What a wonderful gem to find!! We had a small corporate retreat here and it was so spacious and peaceful. We enjoyed the outdoor space with fireplace and pizza oven. Very clean throughout the house with a well equipped kitchen. The hot tub under the stars was magical. Will return for sure!

The Johanna House is a gem! It's perfect for a family and friend gathering and accommodated our group of 11 with plenty of room to spare. The house is spacious, light-filled, clean, and well-maintained. The layout includes many spots to relax and chat - both inside and out. Monica and Mike were friendly and easy to communicate with. Nothing was left to be desired - simply wonderful!
