Coming home to Poet Reef was the highlight of our day during our stay there in Jamaica. The house and surrounds are clean and comfortable and the board games are a nice touch for those who would prefer to stay in. Aaron, the house manager was kind and sincere in getting us settled in, and Chef Andy made the best home cooked Jamaican food (as Asians, we all agreed that his rice, coconut rice especially, was top notch) we had for our entire trip.

Poetreef was the most exceptional experience!! We appreciate Bart allowing us to share his beautiful home and he was a gracious host. Bart was easy to communicate with with prompt responses. Aaron, the house manager, Chef Andy, and Mr. Morris were such a pleasure to enjoy this experience with and took care of all of our needs. Chef Andy cooked the most delicious meals, some of the best Jerk Chicken, Jerk fish, plantain and peanut porridge, brown stew chicken, whole fried fish just to name a few!! We wanted to take Chef Andy home with us. Poetreef is very private, peaceful and serene. The pictures don't do it justice. The views and sunsets are stunning. The highlight of Poetreef was Cousin's Cove and the snorkeling right off the pier. It is simply beautiful, just like swimming in an aquarium!! We snorkeled everyday, multiple times a day, and even saw 2 sting rays. Only negative is we were so sad to leave this amazing place. We will return!!

We booked Poetreef last minute, less than a week before the trip. I hit the jackpot on this one. It was absolutely magical. The grounds, house and view's are absolutely stunning. There are so many different areas to explore on land, but also in the water. The reef and snorkeling was the highlight for the kids (13-19). I have never enjoyed snorkeling, but I loved it here. Our teenagers were in the water like they were little again. They LOVED this vacation. I would recommend at least 4 nights here. You will not be ready to leave after 3 nights. Go to Half Moon Bay Beach! It is a private beach, $5 per person, 10 minutes away. It's GORGEOUS, and they have a bar:) A tropical beach jungle oasis. I am so grateful Bart shares his place with others to enjoy through AIr BNB. And at a VERY reasonable rate. I have paid so much more on Air bnb, for so much less. I was so thankful for Aaron and Andy, I made sure to tip them well and I hope. everyone who stays does the same! BOOK IT!

My family and I stayed at poet reef villa last week. Beautiful house, very relaxing, We could not ask for more. Everyone enjoyed themselves and it is definitely a vacation to remember. Very nice decortions in all rooms, very clean house, Bart was helpful with questions during the booking process. Ask for the Chef Andy he so good. Far exceeded my expectations! I will be back ....The views were simply breath taking. This villa was very spacious for all 8 of us. Aaron, was our house manager and he tended to our every need. He is very sweet and attentive. He answered every phone call and responded back to every text message. We will be back.
