My wife and I had an excellent stay. Helen is an amazing host and her home was perfect. She made us breakfast which was delicious and provided excellent conversation/advice. We would definitely stay here again.
Truly a lovely stay. Would change nothing about it. Helen was the best host, gave lots of space and privacy. Room was huge, bathroom was heated, everything was well stocked. Better than any hotel could possibly be. Homemade breakfast! Lots of snacks in the room! Chocolates on the bed! Champagne in the fridge! I'll be back for sure.
Helen is an absolute delight and her home is the quintessential airbnb situation. Helen has created a cozy and safe environment for every guest. Even better - Helen will cook you an absolutely delicious breakfast!
Perfection! I stayed in the South Suite, which was clean, beautifully decorated, and spacious. The bed was so comfortable, I was tempted to sleep in every morning. The room is thoughtfully stocked with a TV for streaming, Keurig with tea and coffee provided, snacks to much on, refrigerator to store drinks and leftovers. The entire front of the house is for guests’ use only, so there is a lot of privacy. There’s a microwave with plates, napkins, utensils, and a water dispenser in the dining room for meals. Don’t miss Helen’s breakfasts. She’s a chef and artist, so each day’s serving is varied, delicious, and beautifully presented. Such a fulfilling start to the day. Helen herself is host supreme. She is exceptionally warm, generous, and communicative. I felt truly welcomed at Helen’s house. Her dogs were a delight as well. Can’t wait to return to Helen’s the next time I’m in Connecticut!
What a delightful stay we had! Helen’s historic home is so beautiful and clean, and Helen and Robert are some of the most welcoming and friendliest hosts we’ve met in all our travels. The bed in this suite is incredibly comfortable and we had so much space, with an incredible breakfast to top it all off! Don’t hesitate to book this beautiful B&B!
