Sitka · 整套民居 · 3室4床2.0卫 · 可住10人 · The Harbor Lookout: Stunning views and vehicle use
Perched up on a hill in a grove of Sitka spruce, cedar and hemlock, the Eagles Nest offers serene views onto the water from a well-appointed, secluded 3-bedroom property. The property is completely new, with sustainably-built furniture, Le Creuset cookware, and local art and touches. The Eagle’s Nest comes with an SUV that can be picked up and left at the airport. This property sets the bar as far as luxury and furnishings in Sitka. Set up in a hill above Sitka Sound, guests can expect seclusion and views. Just a half mile from the cruise ship terminal, guests can walk from the property for king crab and salmon, or chill on the front deck with local spruce tip ale.
Beautiful view, we even got lucky and saw the Northern lights on our first night!! It was nice being a little bit out of town so we could enjoy a quieter peaceful setting and the car provided made it really easy to get around. The house itself was comfortable, clean, and filled with all the amenities you need. Brendan is such a kind host, responsive and accommodating and there was even a little goody-bag waiting for us. We can't wait to stay with you again!!
Not at all what the pictures show. House was disgustingly dirty. Urine on both toilets and bathroom floor. Hair in shower. No hand soap. Dishwasher full of dirty dishes, Basket of dirty laundry in closet, All the towels and bathmats were dirty on arrival. Very bare kitchen, 4 forks only (but we found one under the couch so 5 now)Blood stain on king mattress that we saw when we had to strip the beds before leaving. Garage is full of junk, broken chair under deck. Not able to use outdoor patio. Host didn’t tell us that the bicycles and kayaks were at a different house and we ended up not being able to get to use them. Car was supposed to be a new Subaru, but instead we got a 1999 beater suv. No coffee or salt or anything cute in house on arrival like the pictures show. House clearly hasn’t been cleaned in months and I’m not even confident if the sheets were washed before we arrived. Extremely disappointed, housewas pending sale when we arrived. Clearly owners don’t care anymore
Great place, nice that it is a bit out of town, peaceful and quiet with a beautiful water view.
Brendan was a great host, very accommodating and responsive. We had a few hiccups along the way and we appreciate his willingness to help us out. The house was clean and had a great view!
This is a quiet, residential neighborhood within walking distance from the cruise ship terminal and shops, about 5 miles from downtown Sitka.
There is a garage to park the car. There are trails nearby, for either mountain biking or walking. We have kayaks for use downtown.
