We stayed in room #3. It was nicely decorated. The bed was super comfy and we slept great. Fresh flowers were in our room when we got in which was a nice touch. Our room had 2 robes in the closet along with plenty of hangars. Room also had a dresser. No TV is in the bedroom (which we did not miss) but there was a TV in the main house which could be used. The B&B is located within 20 minutes of downtown CVille, Monticello, hiking and our favorite, Snugglebutts Farm. The owners are very nice and knowledgeable about the area. There are a lot of things to look at inside the home which they have a vast knowledge of the history of the items. The breakfast was simple but fantastic. Granola, yogurt, fresh berries, croissants and/or muffins. The coffee was great. They also had a selection of Teas.

Stay here!! The hosts and accommodations were above and beyond what you would find at a large hotel! I stayed here when my power was out and all of the hotels were booked. It was such a great staycation in the cold weather. My room was beautifully decorated and clean! The breakfast was delicious and the coffee was warm! Truly a wonderful experience! I cannot recommend staying here enough! Thank you to the great owners!

Pam and William could not have been more friendly and helpful in booking our reservation and more welcoming upon our arrival. Our room was cozy and very comfortable as well as beautiful. We definitely look forward to returning to the Hollymead House.

Pam and William were superb hosts and we really enjoyed our brief, 2-night stay at their place. The accommodations were terrific...very clean, with comfortable and well-chosen linens, decorations, and furniture. Their personal touches welcomed us warmly, including clear communications prior and a personal note and gift basket awaiting us in our room. Very nice! We also loved breakfast time with Pam, William, and "Stony," their Chocolate Lab, and with our fellow guests. It was fun getting to know people and to celebrate a common thread -- the University of Virginia -- that had brought us all together. The Hollymead House Bed & Breakfast is a real treasure, one I highly recommend!

Hollymeade House is the ideal place to stay when visiting Charlottesville and the surrounding area. The rooms are comfortable and are beautifully furnished with period antiques, luxurious linens and well-curated art. A visit to Hollymeade House combines the classic charm of a traditional bed and breakfast with the privacy of a guest cottage. Guests are welcome in the main house in the mornings, where a tasty, healthy breakfast is served. The coffee is delicious and the Garden Room, where breakfast is served, is a lovely place to sit and plan your day's activities. Pam and William are very knowledgeable about the local wineries and other points of interest, including the University, and are happy to share their insider tips with guests. We highly recommend Hollymead House and look forward to returning soon.
