A spacious, comfortable, well equipped place with a great host and perfectly situated for us to visit family and tour the Borders. Great atmospheric photos of local towns and countryside were a nice touch as was the welcome basket of essentials. Off road parking was a bonus here and the space with garden furniture to sit out. Although attached to the restaurant this was a peaceful, happy place to relax. We’ll definitely return.

FANTASTIC! Absolutely loved staying in the Cottage, excellent use of space, clean and tidy but very private. A great location and lovely cottage. We were here in October when the weather was pretty grim and wet, but found good walks and the lovely bookshoop in the village. Cosy beds, a very well-appointed kitchen and relaxing sitting room. Try out the Hunter's Restaurant - we popped in one night for gelato and wine (and got limoncello too!)

Such a lovely little property situated about an hours drive from Edinburgh. Very convenient if you want to explore the gorgeous countryside and take in the history. The cottage has everything you need, including a little courtyard and a wood burner to ensure you can enjoy all year round. The host is very accommodating - making our stay that little more relaxing and enjoyable! Perfect for either a family or with friends, highly recommend!
