This place and its owners are incredible. Super friendly, accommodating whenever possible, easy to contact when needed. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and safe. The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained. Even with cottages being a tiny bit dated, you can see where the extra effort is to make you comfortable. Cottage comfort meets modern-day luxuries like AC, internet and satellite. The instructions provided were 100% accurate and helped us be completely prepared. Everything they listed was available for us to use. The games/movie selection is awesome and the hot tub was really nice. Highly recommend this spot if you're looking to relax in comfort, whether you want to stay in the loop with modern amenities or completely detach and be one with nature. Great place, great owners, can't go wrong here!
This airbnb far exceeded our expectations! we were welcomed to the cottage with christmas music softly playing on the tv, soft lighting, and aromatherapy that instantly relaxed my family. we really needed a getaway and we felt confident with the covid measures that were taken (extra cleaning, contactless check in and out). We're hoping to go back this coming summer!
The description is misleading and they changed a lot of rules when we got there and threatened us to kick us out they also made up new rules saying that rules changes with the season they wanted to charge us extra 300$ for the jaccuzi which is not mentioned anywhere note that we did the reservation before the date of the season change they talked about also they even changed the checkout time and blamed it on the season again when I did the reservation it was 12pm and changed to 10am after. Also the surrounding water is dirty and the insects are awful which caused most of us infections from mosquito bites
I stayed with my wife, three young kids and my mother. There was plenty of space. It was clean and comfortable. Right by the lake and a minute walk to the excellent little private beach. Will come back again.

Springwood Cottage Resort is a four season cottage resort that became under new ownership in March 2021. It is located in the picturesque Frontenac region in Ontario. Located about one kilometer off Highway 7, we are an easy one hour drive north of Kingston, 1.5 hours south west of Ottawa and 2.5 hours north east of Toronto. Our 17 cottages (and one Bunkie) are nestled beneath towering pines and situated along the shimmering shore of big, beautiful Kennebec Lake. This spectacular lake offers approximately 500 hectares of excellent fishing and boating, as well as amazing views of rock formations and stunning sunsets.
