What a fabulous place! Everything is beautifully laid out, and do much thought has gone into the facilities and the feel of the place. You just feel connected to the stunning Devon countryside all around you. Katie was delightful: friendly, clear, helpful, flexible and thoughtful. Although I was staying on my own, it would be a great place for a big group to get together too. I had a wonderful time.

We have had such a wonderful time staying at Apple cottage! A mix of being cosy and traditional but with quite a modern cottage feel. We have a 1 & 4 year old and a dog, so having the gates on the stairs was so helpful! Katie the host also kindly put a cot in the single room so our children had a room of their own. Katie has been amazing in guiding us with places to visit and general questions during our stay. We found it to be in a great location to local walks and pubs but within 30-40 minutes drive we also visited Haldon forest, Canonteign falls, Dawlish warren beach, River dart country park and Fyne Court NT (all perfect with children and dogs) Then the shared pool and games room next to the cottage was just the cherry on top! We highly recommend and will definitely be returning when we can!

It was a really great accomodation and easy to find because of Katie's detailed description. We enjoyed our stay with the children (1,5 and 3). They had a lot of fun in the play room which is perfectly equipped for small children, but also for adults (table tennis, billiards). We went to the nice pool daily. The accomodation is highly recommendable.

Lovely accommodation, home from home - staff were reluctant to leave and come back to the office! Haha! Warm, friendly and well-organized host. Would love to stay again if in the area.
