Such a great place to relax! It wasn’t indicated on the listing that they provided a complimentary breakfast, so I was surprised when they told us there will be breakfast in the morning. The staff were very nice and accommodating. We loved the place!

The rudest care taker is in charge here. Her name is Loida and she raised her voice on my wife. We inadvertently left some clothing items hanging in the closet when we checked out. About 4 or 5 hours later, we realized that and texted and called the number of Loida. She cannot be reached and the messages were unsuccessful. I messaged the host Susan who promptly responded but as Susan is not in the property, it seemed this Loida was in control. I finally got thru Loida about another hour later and she made excuses about her phone having no signal and but said that she has the items we left behind. When we returned to the property, what she handed over were only 2 of the 3 clothing items we left but my wife was sure there were 3. Yet when she tried to demand for the 3rd item, Loida was adamant that my wife did not leave anything! This accusation got my wife angry. The Loida responded heatedly that there were only 2 and started to raise her voice saying “ngayon lang kami nagkaroon ng customer katulad mo” [we never had any client like you]. She had to add “anuhin ko naman yang pantalon nyo” [what would I do with you pair of pants] which is a worse insult one would give to materialistic low level kind of people. All of these she spat on my wife without checking the closet. So I had to be the calm one and insist that she first look. Lo and behold, the pair of pants was still hanging in the closet. She did not do her job of checking the place when we checked out. She decided to engage my wife head-on in an argument without factual basis. When she realized she was now wrong, she tried to pass the blame on the guest after us who supposedly handed over our left-behind clothes. This sounds impossible that a guest who would handover left behind items would only hand over everything minus 1. It’s one small closet and the 3 items were hanging in hangers next to each other. I have never seen a host-manager as rude as Loida. I cannot in my conscience recommend to any of you out there to come here with a rude manager in charge. The best experience would go out the window when you encounter this kind of attitude from your host-manager. Stay away.

We are thankful that we were able to book the place one day before our travel. Its a rush booking and Ms. Susan was easy to talk with and it was a smooth transaction. The place was relaxing and peaceful, just perfect for a short getaway if you want a space away from home. My daughter really loves the private pool. The room was cozy, clean and complete with amenities. The staff was really accomodating and kind. We love the foods esp the coffee they served. We love everything about the place. We really enjoyed the time we spent here in La Finca and wish to go back again. Thank you Ms. Susan and to all the staff of La Finca. We will definitely visit again.
