Check this place out if you’re looking for what feels like an authentic Maine experience! Even during low season it is fun to watch the boats come and go. Picturesque nearby villages. Great hiking nearby.
It was a very nice place. Only two things stick out they I was not a fan of. 1. Smelled like fish in the bathroom all the time. 2.The water in the faucets smelled like rust. Loved they had plenty of towels and the place was super clean. I wish there had been a deck so we could have had ☕️ outside. The one bed we slept in was comfortable but I rolled to the center of the bed. Upon arrival very nice they had fruit, muffins, bean dip and water in the fridge. Very nice
Jack was great to work with and made our stay special. He was quick to keep in touch with an impending tropical storm coming and made sure that we were kept up to date on everything. Very unique location with a lot to see!
Enjoyed our stay here! Kitchen was very well equipped. Host even welcomed us with big fruit platter, cream cheese & milk in fridge! The scenery from the bedrooms is beautiful, especially in the early dawn hours with the sun just rising & fog disappearing.
We have stayed in many different places in Maine, hotels, time shares, VRBO’s, and campgrounds( long ago). The Lobster Lodge was our favorite and the very best of all. We felt so at home there. The girls who manage the Lidge were also very helpful. It didn’t matter that there was no air conditioning.. there were windows with wonderful views in every room. We stayed for 3 weeks & never wanted to leave. Looking forward to going back there next year.
