Beautiful scenery and very private. Our 2 dogs loved the place. The King bed was comfortable . When we first arrived the water was very sulfuric and iron smelling, which dissipated by the second day for the most part. Bring bottled water to drink if you aren’t use to that type of water.

My wife, two boys, and dog loved the stay. The house looks amazing, very spacious, and has just about everything you need. The beds are very comfortable, the room have plenty of space, and there are plenty of electronics to keep you busy if you get rain (which we did a few times). The surrounding area is very picturesque. The house is in a large, open field. The river is right there with swings. And there is even and outside downstairs area with a TV, seating, BBQ, etc. The family really enjoyed getting a fire going in the nice fire-pit. Downtown Luray was only 10 mins. It has everything you might need including a Food Lion, Wal-mart and nice restaurants. We did mostly bbq but also a nice dinner at the Chop House Bistro. The entrance to Shenandoah National Park - Skyline Drive - is about 25 mins away. Note that cell coverage is poor but they have WiFi and a landline. This was our fist trip to Shenandoah and when we do it again we will definitely looks for this place again.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful property. The landscape is just gorgeous and we and our dogs had the best time playing by the river, lounging in the sunshine, and enjoying all the lovely spaces. You will have a great trip no matter what you feel like doing - this house is awesome!!
