Andrea was an excellent host! He was very responsive, helpful when we arrived, and surprised us with various produce from his farm. The property was exactly as described. We enjoyed a peaceful few days relaxing by the pool and cooking at home.

Andrea was very responsive! Although be prepared for some translation as he does not speak English. Makes for a fun nonverbal communication time ;) The house was really interesting. The property is beautiful, rustic and the pool is amazing. We had lovely veggies from Andrea’s garden and he was willing to help when we had questions. The house is kept surprisingly cool even during our heatwave. There is only AC in the bedrooms up top but we got by with a fan downstairs. There’s definite old world charm to the place but that comes with some old world problems. The downstairs where the pool table/couch is, is super super musty. We steered clear of that area as it wasn’t bearable to be down there without all windows open. There is a furniture beetle problem which is prob due to the damp/mustiness and needs to be dealt with. The location to Orvieto is wonderful! The washer/drying rack was fantastic and came in handy for our family of 4. Overall it was a fine stay.

My husband and I met my brother and sister in law at “La Torre del Bennicelli” for a two night get together. What a beautiful peaceful location. We were met by Andrea when we arrived by taxi and felt very welcomed immediately. The accommodation is beautifully maintained and just as it appears in the pictures. We had two home cooked meals at Andrea’s home and it makes me smile just thinking about them, such generosity. We couldn’t have asked for more. Andrea also gave us a wonderful recommendation for a local wine tour which was exceptional. To top it off, Andrea dropped us off at the train station because he knew we had no car. For me, the stand out was Andea, such a genuinely warm man who was happy to have us visit his home. We didn’t share very much language and yet we had no problems communicating. A really special place with a lovely host. Thank you very much. Karen and Mick .

My friend and I had a great time staying here. We grilled fish and veggies and swam in the pool and made water colors.. it was so relaxing. The house is big and spacious and the land is so beautiful. Andrea is a great host, very kind and helpful.

My wife and I and our two best friends came to Italy for a wedding in Rome. We stayed in some beautiful hotels in Rome, Florence and Siena. They were all in nice neighborhoods, close to restaurants and shopping, etc. None of them compared to our stay here at La Torre del Bennicelli. This place was amazing! I couldn't believe the attention to detail in the restoration of this property. The house and surrounding property were immaculate and situated in an idyllic location near vineyards and farms. One of the highlights for me was our breakfasts out on the private stone patio with distant views of the next door estate. The kitchen was complete with all things needed if making meals during your stay. A small market was nearby for food shopping. There was also a restaurant nearby of which we didn't take advantage. A short ride took us to other shopping and also to the beautiful hill town of Orvieto. Elena and her husband could not have been nicer and more accommodating to our needs. One of my friends commented that our trip to Italy was a great trip but that our stay here made the trip a real vacation. I highly recommend a stay at La Torre del Bennicelli, you won't regret a minute of it.
