The location is lovely and I am sure if the weather was better, we would have been outside more and not picked up on the interior. The furniture is outdated and far to big for the very small flat. The main bedroom has a small double bed and a large bedframe where you knock your shins or stub your toes during the night. The en-suite is so small. There is nowhere to put any toiletries. The mirror is not located above the sink, but above the toilet at the opposite end of the room. The en-suite smelt of damp/mould. The twin guest room lacked hanging storage, the unit was broken and wobbly. All mattresses were lumpy and uncomfortable. The kitchen lacked a full set of wine glasses and could do with more than one tea towel. Could not work the TV. Personally I feel it was too much money for what was on offer. The photo's are very selective in what you see inside the apartment.

A lovely apartment in a beautiful location. Daryl was great at communicating and answered all our questions prior to the stay. A well equipped place. Gorgeous view of the sea from the balcony - my favourite spot!

The location of this apartment was brilliant. Lots of safe bathing in the beautiful clear bay. We had a lovely welcome package from Victoria with delicious fresh bread from the local bakery. The views were spectacular and the sunset took my breath away. The actual apartment was a good size but we could see a dog had been there as there were dog hairs around and dog marks on the glass doors. We had the double bedroom which has its own shower room. However, there was an unpleasant smell coming from drains the whole time we were there which meant we didn’t really want to use the shower, and we had to have the window open to be able to sleep in there also. If the cleaning was of a higher standard and the drains sorted then I would be able to give this place 5 out of 5 but sadly I can’t.

I took two teenagers here and it worked really well. Daryl was a good communicator and he is supported by lovely people on site. The location and the view of the bay and out to sea is the outstanding feature of the apartment, with a generous balcony outside and well positioned windows and French windows giving you great views from the main living space and kitchen. I felt on holiday the whole time, even when I was doing the cooking or the laundry 😀. The bedrooms are quite basic, but we loved having 2 bathrooms. The living space is a good size for a family of 3 or 4, and we were easily able to have visitors for lunch or tea because of the open spaces inside and out. We didn’t use the BBQ and garden dining area but I can see that would be great for other families. It was really good to have a private outside space, while also being so close to the sea! Totland is quite quiet compared to other beaches on the island, but the Restaurants, grocery stores etc in this area are really good.

This place is a real gem. The large balcony is one of only 6 or 7 properties that overlooks this huge expanse of seafront. Waking up everyday to the sea and hot drink on the balcony watching the sunset was so memorable. 2 of the best restaurants on island in 5 min walking distance- The Waterfront (1minute walk) The Hut (10 minute walk). Also for breakfast go to The Longbeach cafe approx 10 min walk. Will hopefully be back later in the year
