This was the cutest place to stay but with the WORST exp w/ the NEW OWNER! Hidden fees, $25 per pet, $50 cleaning fee that’s not stated upfront on the listing page. Asked if we could check in 1hr early, but it was another $50 fee! We booked this place for the 10th and 11th. Any place I’ve stayed at, those dates would mean a check out on AM of the 12th. At 4:30pm on the 11th we were told we had to get out IMMEDIATELY bc we only booked 1 night, & we were supposed to check out that morning & that there was someone else booked there for the night of the 11th? The maid put my hubs on the phone w/ Adri & she was extremely short & rude about the miscom. Rude also via the app, telling us repeatedly we had to leave immediately. As we have a toddler I asked for 30 mins but she kept insisting we needed to leave IMMEDIATELY. We took the half hour anyways, but she COMPLETELY tainted the stay. Money hungry & ugly heart. Other guests we met also expressed the same. More to say but it won’t even fit.

Booked last minute. Once we located the place, we noticed it was under construction and was unsure of where to go. Ran into one of the workers and they were extremely friendly in showing me where the room was. They were extremely apologetic about any noise and all the surrounding construction and even offered us some dinner. Construction was not a big deal for us as we were there just overnight and even left before they started working the next morning to make the drive back home. Plenty of walking around the area for dogs and exercisers. I do understand a bad part of the area is just around the corner and was warned by the realtor to keep vigilant. I personally didn't feel scared one bit, but we also had our German Shepherd with us. I think once the construction upgrades are complete it will be a decent dog friendly place to stay. The room itself was fine, kitchenette, AC worked good, mattress needs upgrading, bring shampoo, close beach access.

Location was great and was a walkable distance to the beach. Shower and beds had a good bit of hair and the beds were very hard. Would definitely go back if these issues were resolved.
