Enjoy a memorable visit when you stay in this unique place. It’s a very quirky cottage with low beams and doorways but the rooms are spacious. There is a staircase leading to the bedroom and the entrance to the bedroom has a very low beam so you have to duck under. There is a wet room shower room downstairs that just shares with me! There is lots of private parking, 15 mins drive from Brighton, 35 mins drive to Gatwick Airport and an easy drive to London. We are only a 10 min walk to Hickstead. This is a grade 2 listed cottage with low beamed doorways but spacious rooms! The bedroom is accessed by a staircase and has a low beamed entrance that you have to duck under. There is a wet room shower downstairs.

There are lovely walks from the cottage to surrounding countryside and only a 10 minute walk to Hickstead Showground. There is a wonderful shop opposite that stocks sandwiches, drinks etc and there is a pub within walking distance. Hurstpierpoint with its lovely independent shops is a mere 5 minute drive away and there are several really good restaurants I can recommend.
Ideally I would prefer guests to have transport as there are only 3 buses a day and returning from Brighton is early!
There is a bus stop opposite the house to take you into Brighton, or, in the opposite direction to Haywards Heath but please note they are infrequent. The train station is a 10 min drive with trains to Brighton or London.
