Welcome to our charming and peaceful home in the beautiful Cedars neighborhood (Wilmington, Delaware). We are centrally located while retaining privacy and comfort. Trolley Square, Christiana and Newark are less than 15 minutes away. The property backs up to Brandywine Springs Park, an absolute must see for any nature enthusiast. If retail therapy is more your speed, Prices Corner is right up the street. We have aspired to create a welcoming space and we look forward to sharing that with you! The property is a split-level home located on a partially forested lot. The property backs up to the magical and historic Brandywine Springs Park. It is an absolute must see for any nature enthusiast. You enter into the main level of the home where you will find the living room, dining area and full service kitchen. We love to cook (sometimes even professionally!) so the kitchen is stocked with the necessities plus some. You don't need to worry about water safety here, the cold water from the kitchen sink is filtered by a 3 stage under the counter system and is very suitable for drinking. The living room has a smart TV so you can access all of your favorite apps. We do not have cable, but the WiFi is blazing fast. Please feel free to peruse one of our numerous books. A couple stairs up you'll find the bedrooms and the full bath. Bedroom 1 has a queen bed, drawers, and 2 closets. The projector has a Chromecast so you can stream directly from your phone and project onto the wall. Bedroom 2 also has a queen bed and dresser. This room can be used as an office since it is complete with desk, printer and filing cabinet (the printer has tons of paper, but ink is the guest's responsibility). Bedroom 3 is currently being used as a dressing room. It has a shoe rack, vanity and 2 rolling racks for clothes. The full bathroom features a full size tub, bidet and toiletry necessities. Clean towels and wash clothes are always provided. Downstairs you'll find the spacious lower level that is currently being used as an office/gym. There is a bench, yoga mat and Chirp wheels available for epic back stretching. This level has a half bath and a mud room that leads to the backyard. The home sits on .6 of an acre. The yard is fully fenced but only half of it is usable space as the other half has been claimed by nature. Every now and again we see deer, fox or the residential ground hog. This area is loved by Delaware's colorful native birds, if you love to bird watch, it's a treat! Our home is a peaceful and creactive space.
