Don't get me wrong - we had a lovely stay for 3 nights at Heidi's house - BUT both the double beds were saggy and uncomfortable and would really benefit from changing to king size with brand new matresses. Heidi kindly made up the bed in the spare room so at least we could get some sleep (apart). When you have just driven 250 miles it really is all about the sleep, especially when you have been looking forward to this break for months. Also the heating sometimes didn't come on when it should have - probably not a problem in the summer - and I must say Heidi came down to fix it straight away and called the plumber for the boiler, which seemed to do the trick. Otherwise everything was great - especially lots of crockery and cutlery, which is often lacking in other airbnb's. The views were spectacular, the walks wonderful, and the whole village had such a friendly vibe and was very much an active community, with 2 great pubs as well.

We had a great time staying here with everything we could need in a homely property. The location is amazing and the patio area allows you to be able to sit out and enjoy the view and observe all that comes and goes on the river. It was peaceful but with two pubs, a cafe and ice cream nearby in thevillage. Riverside walks and a train trip to Plymouth are worthwhile without having to drive

Perfect place to stay away from all the hustle bustle from the crowds and traffic. Property is by the river with great views. Next to property, is an amazing pub/cafe with great food. All major attractions are between 1-2hrs drive from Heidi’s place. Stay was comfortable for 2 families with kids.
