My wife and I have visited dozens of AirBnB cottages or apartments over the years. This was by far the most comfortable, clean and spectacular place that we have stayed. Everything was perfect - a real treat.

Lorraine was responsive and easy to deal with and clear instructions were provided. The house was as described and pictured, with nice views of the river and was very clean, tidy and comfortable. Great location for walks, river activities and visiting other local places. The only real downside is the parking, we visited at the weekend and parking in the public car park was very full when you returned in the evenings due to people visiting the local pubs and social club. It was also very muddy with large puddles due to the wet weather, so bring your walking boots for the short walk back from the car!

The property was absolutely stunning throughout and in the most beautiful setting. It was spotlessly clean and included lovely touches such a vase of fresh flowers which we really appreciated. The hosts Lorraine and Julie were extremely helpful and responsive both before and during our stay. Our party of eight loved our stay and will definitely return. Highly recommended! Thank you

Lorraine was very responsive to my request to check in early so I could prep the house before my family arrived. It was winter and she made sure there was plenty of fuel for the woodburner. The house provided a lovely big space for a family Christmas, and Lorraine provided some Christmas decorations . There was a baby in the group so it was great to have a bath in one of the bathrooms. The washing machine was initially in a locked cupboard, but Lorraine opened it for us when I told her we needed to use it, and allowed us to use her laundry liquid which was really helpful. We had some trouble with the heating and hot water, which is why I've given 4 stars rather than 5. We were able to fix it the first time but not the second time. Having said that, we would rent this house again - its a lovely venue and Lorraine is a very helpful host.
