Fred, is most definitely one of the most generous and friendliest host. The cottage is beautiful and very well maintained, you will feel right at home and the amenities are on the higher end which makes this very comfortable. There is also a beautiful infotainment setup which makes movie night a blast. The outdoor areas were amazing, the wrap around deck has everything you need to enjoy the outdoors for meals and lounging. The deck by the water is perfect and even has power should you need it. The kayaks made this super fun and one of our favourite parts of the trip. Some reviews say the water can get busy, yes there is a lock nearby but overall there is more than enough space to enjoy time on the water and still be very safe. I will definitely be returning, thank you Fred!

Fred’s cottage was amazing. The interior was spacious and clean. The outdoor deck was large with plenty of patio furniture for peaceful lounging in the sun. There was quite a bit of boat traffic on the river but still had a great time relaxing on the dock. We even managed to get in a couple of swims. We also had a great time taking the kayaks out to get a better view of the waterfall. I would definitely recommend Fred’s cottage to any one looking for a peaceful getaway.
