Seaclusion house is literally what it seems. You get the ocean view, with both the sounds of the jungle and the sea. There are hammocks, rocking chairs, sunsets, monkeys, hummingbirds, macaws just to name a few. If relaxing is your adventure of choice, between our once in a lifetime wildlife tours, you are in the right place. There is a short adventure jungle trail from our place to the beach (we are elevated 90m from the ocean) that has you ten minutes away from the warm Pacific waters. Seaclusion house is an open concept home, with gorgeous views out every window. The perfect family bonding experience, a stocked kitchen for all of your basic needs, a breakfast bar to enjoy the morning jungle breeze, a beautiful deck to relax, socialize, celebrate and bask in the wonders of both sea and jungle life, and a glorious shower abundant with hot water to satisfy that home comfort craving.

We stayed in dozens of places through Airbnb over the years. Andre was the nicest host we have encountered. He proactively took care of all our needs and desires, as if we were family. He helped us with laundry, coordinated activities for us, drove us around (including driving us to the grocery store and to the airport), allowed us to shower in his house after we checked out! All of these with a big smile and reassuring words. The place itself was perfect for us: a large open space, with everything we needed. Beautiful views, birds chirping gently in the morning, friendly (quiet) dogs, what else can one ask for? Thank you for letting us stay at your perfect house and being such a wonderful host!

Incredible seaview and best place for bird watching! We stayed 3 nights in this wonderful house. We loved to start the day with the sunrise to enjoy the wonderful ocanview and the sound of the nature. We saw a lot of macaws, tucans, hummingbirds and a lot of other birds passing by the deck or sitting in the trees around it. The apartment is very well equipped and there are to binoculars as well!!! It is a bit off the path Button there is a trail down to the beach and town (15 min to the beach and around 25 min to the town). You can also walk to Playa Colorada where some of the tours start/end. Andrew has been a wonderful, helpful and very welcoming host. He picked us up when we arrived by boat, helped us with booking tours and with any other question we had during our stay! Thank you so much for your hospitality! It was one of the best places we ever stayed!
Our Favourite place so far - very peaceful, spacious and comfortable with incredible views over the bay from the deck. Pura Vida! The drive in was a bit nerve wracking to begin with especially in the dark but fine once you got used to it. Andre was on hand and welcomed us into the house. Having a car was helpful for early morning tours as the house is a bit out of Drake but all the more peaceful because of that.
Wir hatten bei Andre den schönsten Aufenthalt unserer Costa Rica Reise. Die Terrasse mit dem Blick auf das Meer ist unglaublich schön & ruhig. Man hat die Möglichkeit viele Tiere zu sehen. Andre war sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Vielen Dank für die tollen 3 Tage.

Seaclusion house is on a private property above the main town strip of Drake Bay. It occurs like
you are alone in the middle of the jungle, however, it only takes a 10min walk to the beach, and
a 15min walk to town to be back to Drake Bay centre and in the presence of others. It is a very
small village, however, it will provide a taste of Costa Rica. You will find music, restaurants,
super markets, vegetable stands, an ice-cream parlour, a souvenir shop and plenty of tourist
activities.
Drake Bay town is only one road. It's pretty hard to get lost, however, don't be shy to ask for
recommendations, I know the best spots and guides.
Getting around
Drake Bay is relatively easy to get by on foot, especially from Jungle by the Sea. However,
please keep in mind we are elevated and it is recommended to drive or catch a taxi at night.
Driving is also relatively simple in Drake Bay especially if you have a 4X4, which is the only type
of vehicle that will make it to the house. Most people do prefer to walk everywhere anyway due
to the ease of location and the beautiful scenery you get to witness along the way.
Parking is simple and easy, in town and at the house! - One less thing to worry about on your vacation.

He was the pioneer in tourism in Drake bay and since his passing my brother and I have made a commitment to share the magic of Drake bay with the world just like he did.
