What an incredible stay! We will not forget going to sleep as we listened to the vibrant sound of the jungle. Our hosts were so helpful, especially when our car broke down! Would highly recommend a stay here. The house is very special. So much wildlife and beautiful beaches.

We absolutely loved our stay here. If you are looking for something off the beaten track, peace, a close connection with nature, and the most private pristine beaches, this is for you. Pablo, Lucia and Sofia have created the most beautiful home and a window in the paradise that is Osa/Drake Bay. Come prepared with your groceries, and also a mosquito net (I wish I had had one for reading in bed.) This was where our family has the most vivid memories of our trip.

A magical place away from the more densely touristic areas where you can be immersed in nature. Wake up and fall asleep to the sounds of the ocean. Drinking water is provided which was very nice! We walked to town on the jungle path (1 hr) and to Rio Clario (45 min) and San Josecito (1.5 hrs). The restaurant 2 min from the house is awesome, way cheaper and more delicious than anything you'll find in town!

We had a fantastic stay! The house was unique and just like the description, the proximity to the beach was ideal, and Pablo and Lucia were incredibly thoughtful hosts. We would definitely stay here again, and I plan to recommend this Airbnb to my friends and family! If you decide to visit the Drake Bay area and are looking for a quiet, peaceful home base, this is the perfect spot. The house is an hour walk to the town of Drake Bay, and we had a nice time walking to town one morning for a late breakfast. There’s a small soda (get the ceviche!) 5 minutes from the house, but otherwise dining options are limited; you should plan to buy groceries in Palmar Norte. Lucia helped us figure out the boat from Sierpe, and Pablo met us on the landing beach (10min walk from the house) when we arrived. Lucia also helped us set up tours with a local company on two of the four days we were there; Caño Island and Corcovado NP were both great day trips! My only regret was that we didn’t stay longer!

It is hard to put into words how beautiful our stay was. This home was made with so much love and is cared for with so much love. Total peace, surrounded by jungle and nature and located on a quiet beach. We loved our stay and had such a hard time leaving. The hosts are truly lovely people, and we wish we lived much closer. This will be a place we hope to return to. Again and again. Thank you for sharing your paradise with us.
