As you’ll read in other reviews, the view is beautiful from Melan’s place. Melan is a really engaged host and it was clear that she wanted to make us feel right at home. We found some great gems in Drake Bay- Coco Cafe and Nahuala Waterfalls and a beautiful hike around the bay, to name a few. Things to keep in mind: the two beds in the house are fulls (probably wouldn’t have deterred us, but I don’t think it’s listed) and whoa- it was HOT. The house doesn’t really cool off ever and we definitely struggled to sleep two of the 3 nights we were there. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and think Melan was wonderful. 5 stars for sure!

La vue est magnifique et le logement est paisible au milieu de la nature. J’ai adoré le sentier pour y accéder depuis la plage même si cela peut être un peu physique pour certaines personnes. Je recommande vivement d’avoir sac à dos et basket pour y accéder ! Pura vida !

What a jaw dropping view of Drake Bay from Melan's place! It was quite comfortable, and served us well as our Bahia Drake home base. It may not be for you if you're looking for an easy to get to location, or if you're looking for luxury, BUT, if you want somewhere to stay to get the absolute privacy and beauty of this area, this is your spot! The only mistake we made was not allowing Melan to make us a reservation for a taxi to pick us up on the beach to take us to the entrance closest to the home (and to be fair, she did suggest it and offer to make arrangements). Being adventurers, we decided to hike down the beach, and climb the significant uphill from the lower road. But like any good hike, the payoff view was worth it! We watched McCaws do fly by's, we watched a monkey swinging and playing in a tree with it's baby, and viewed the peaceful bay- All from the scenic front porch! And Melan is fantastic host- she went above and beyond, helping us book several tours! Pura Vida!

Ce logement possède une vue magnifique sur l’océan pacifique avec la nature en prime et les animaux! Il est à l’image du corcovado nature et sans superflu. Bien sûr il demande sans doute à être un peu renové , mais cela ajoute du charme à l’expérience authentique de cet endroit du Costa Rica . Melan est très réactive et disponible en cas de besoin. Il est plus facile de prendre les repas à bahia Drake même si la route requière un 4x4 Merci Melan pour ce séjour

Melans Unterkunft hat einen unglaublichen Ausblick auf die Bucht von Drake und liegt immer noch recht nah am Geschehen. Das Haus mit Veranda ist sehr geräumig und wir haben dort Sport machen können. Wer morgens rechtzeitig aufsteht kann Spidermonkeys, Tukane, Aras und mehr sehen, da das Haus mitten im Dschungel steht. Melan ist sehr fürsorglich und super lieb. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiter
