Amazing to see monkeys or macaws or hummingbirds while drinking coffee in the morning. The pool was very welcoming after the hot days of adventuring. It quickly became our star post dive, hike, or jungle tour go to spot. Great view and great location.

This house is amazing! It was such a nice place to come and rest after three hard days of hiking in Corcovado National Park. The washing facilities are very practical with plenty of covered drying lines. Clothes dried quickly (dry season). The house was very comfortable, the air conditioning in the rooms worked well, and the rooms have proper windows. The outside areas had plenty of fans which kept the mosquitoes away in the evening (even though the mosquitoes were not crazy bad anyway). Honestly, this house was like a little piece of heaven in Drake Bay, can’t recommend it enough. A bit pricey, but by far our whole family’s favourite stay so far! Be aware that the pick up from the beach is likely to be by some sort of taxi. In our case we were not expecting that. The taxi driver did not get out of the car, and did not make any attempt to find us, then went off on another job leaving us to walk up. It was not far really, but we were tired from hiking and it was hot.

Wonderful stay at Raquel’s place. It was close enough to the village of Drake Bay to walk to restaurants yet far enough to see monkeys in the rain forest across the street! Would highly recommend!

My family loved our stay here. It was a perfect retreat and launching spot for tons of activities. Raquel was really helpful and had lots of local suggestions! I would love to stay here again if we are lucky enough to visit Drake Bay/Corcovado again!
