Not having a AC made the experience very bad and the area is full of mosquitos so hot and open windows trying to get some fresh air it was the decision between mosquitoes bites or the extreme hot climate. we had bad night time. Then One night we had power outages . We couldn’t sleep. The house has open spaces no windows there water from the rain was coming inside the house. Lol a bad experience . All kind of insects inside the house every where. It was not comfortable at all.

The house is surrounded by nature, in the morning you can hear the howler monkeys and the sound of birds. Many hummingbirds and yellow-breasted birds come to the garden. At night most of the year it rains heavily and it is a great experience. You can walk to the beach just 10 minutes away and we have a convenience store 5 minutes away. the neighbors are nice. The house has different types of lighting to give the place atmosphere for different occasions.

If you come by public transportation from San Jose or Limón you can ask to stop at the entrance of Plaza Viquez and walk 300 meters towards the beach, you will find the house on the left.
If you come by taxi from Cahuita, ask to be taken to Plaza Viquez, normally the fare is 3,000 Colones.
