Welcome to the Cedar Hill Depot house where character and comfort meet. Built in the early 1950's it has endless charm, and with the recent renovations you also get all the comforts of today. At 650 sq ft the studio style cabin offers a spacious feel. Cedar Hill Depot sleeps up to 4 comfortably with 1 Queen bed and 1 Queen sofa bed. The kitchen area is modest so plan on taking advantage of the local restaurant cuisine during your stay. **We ask that all guests be over the age of 18. The bedroom is separated from the main living area but does not have a door. There is a comfortable Queen sized bed there and a cozy feel. The main living area has a Queen sized sofa bed along with additional seating to comfortably have 4 people gathering together. The kitchen is small with basic amenities. There is a sink, small refrigerator, cups, coffee and coffee maker and some disposable utensils and plates. You will want to plan on eating out or bringing food back for your meals as this kitchen isn't really made for cooking. There is 1 full bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet. You'll also find shampoo, conditioner, soap and plush towels. Outside there is a covered front porch with seating so you can enjoy the fresh air and watch the fountain in the yard. Running from Fernandina to Cedar Key, the Florida Railroad was completed in 1860. The line was intended to establish Florida as a major center of commerce. Both the Union and Confederacy either destroyed or pulled up the Florida Railroad rails leading to our city. The Cedar Hill Depot design pays homage to Cedar Key's railroad history.
