Manayunk is the one of the safest neighborhoods in Philadelphia.
Known for its small-town charm, lively nightlife, and stunning views of the Schuylkill River. It is home to many unique shops, restaurants, and bars, as well as several parks and trails for outdoor enthusiasts.
Take a stroll down Main Street and discover the many local shops and eateries, or head to one of the many parks or trails for a hike, bike ride, or picnic. There are also many community events throughout the year, including the Manayunk Arts Festival, the Manayunk StrEAT Food Festival, concerts, and holiday celebrations.
Living in Manayunk also means having easy access to all that Philadelphia has to offer, including world-renowned museums, theaters, universities, and sporting events. The city's public transportation system makes it easy to get around, with several bus and train routes connecting Manayunk to other parts of the city.

This apartment is FANTASTIC for those who work from home, work nights, or travel via public transportation into the city. Street parking is free and spots are ample before 7pm.
Please keep in mind however that Philadelphia- but Manayunk in particular - is a very popular 200 year old town that simply doesn't have the infrastructure to accommodate the tens of thousands of cars that are currently on the streets. Rentals that provide on site parking are hard to come by and/or are priced at a premium for the privilege. Parking will be a challenge no matter where you go.
Fortunately, this apartment is centrally located so you can walk or bike anywhere you want to go - Manayunk is infamous for it's cyclists. Further there are ample public transportation options including direct bus & train routes into the city. Downtown Philly is a 20 minute Uber ride away!
