This cottage is exactly as described. It is quite comfortable. It is very close to the road down to Port Clyde so there is quite a bit of road noise in the morning and late afternoon but it is quiet otherwise. We woke to loon song in the early morning and to the sight of a Great Blue Heron fishing. The view is spectacular.

We can not say enough good things about this home and location! We stayed for two weeks in the winter and even then it was gorgeous, relaxing, cozy and everything we needed! Seeing the sunrise right outside our bedroom window was also a blessing we didn’t expect!! The location was perfect to enjoy time at the home, the water and lobster boats and explore the amazing local towns and lighthouses!!! There is also a cute general store within walking distance. We would recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy Maine and get some needed R & R!!! Thank you for hosting us!!

Amazing views! This house was perfect for our family of 4 to enjoy. We were visiting family about 10 minutes away and this was the perfect location. The house was fully stocked with every possible need. The loft was great for the kids to explore and spend some time. The wifi worked great and we were able to get some work done during the day while enjoying the view. Everything is practically brand new in the house and it is nicely decorated. Yes, it is on a main road and you will hear road noise starting after 6am, but during the night it is quiet and peaceful and the only really busy times are in the morning and evening when people are going to and from work. The general store, harbor and Ancho Honey (not to be missed) are all very close by. It was freezing cold outside, but inside the home stayed nice and warm.
