We absolutely loved staying at the Gumlog Getaway. This house had a “home away from home” feeling. It had absolutely everything that you needed in an Airbnb. The house was beautifully decorated and we loved having the private dock on the lake. We will absolutely be back!

My partner and I enjoyed our weekend getaway here. You can tell a lot of thought was put into the decor and making the space inviting. Heather was a great host. She let us know before our arrival heavy rain washed mud down to the front door. Unfortunately, a handy man wasn’t able to come out and clean it same day, but my partner was able to clear a path for us. Besides that we didn’t have any issues. I agree with a previous review that some shelving in the bathrooms for toiletries would be great. The dock was nice and new, but not an easy walk down and neither of us have mobility issues. Overall this is a very cozy place and the pictures are accurate.

Loved this lil gem in the small town of Lavonia. The place had so much character and unique pieces. We loved Heather’s recommendation of the Vintage Cup! So delicious and quaint. Bonus that there were two sweet neighborhood dogs that came to greet us a couple times!

We had a wonderful stay with three of our daughters (7, 9, 14). We had a blast playing all the board games and trying to fish in the lake. Heather communicates very well, and it shows she is very proud of this cabin.

The Gumlog Getaway is an adorable little place right on the lake. We enjoyed our stay so much. Heather was extremely quick to reply when we had questions...even if they were just about the decorating and where she found the cute items she used around the house. She had some great recommendations for shopping and places to eat. If we are ever back in this part of the world, we will definitely stay here again. Thanks for making our weekend great!
