The house was in an ideal spot for us to visit relatives nearby. The beds were super comfortable and there were some crisps, biscuits etc which were an unexpected extra! The house was mainly very clean, but there were a couple of issues, such as a grubby mat in the bath and some areas that were very dusty. This was down to the cleaning company, not the host. The host contacted them and resolved it very quickly, arranging a refund of a proportion of the cleaning fee.

This is a perfectly nice house. It was clean and comfortable and situated on a quiet road. The bedrooms are a good size. The kitchen is well equipped. Unfortunately the heating kept breaking which meant we would wake up to a cold house and no hot water. This happened numerous times and whilst communication was good at the time of our stay, there has been no communication since to discuss a goodwill gesture offer of some money back. It seems to be a company renting out this house and it was suggested that we could have vouchers for a future stay which isn't at all helpful as it was a one off trip. I don't think it's acceptable to expect paying guests to have to boil the kettle for baths and washing up!
