Newly Renovated Basement Condo – Perfect for Couples & Young Families Welcome to Creekside Getaway, a peaceful & cozy private condo with access to extraordinary outdoor amenities. Located in a secluded area on the east side of town nestled in the surrounding hills, 2.2mi to the heart of downtown Black Mountain, 3mi to Montreat, & ~23min drive to Downtown Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Surrounded by an abundance of nature including mature trees & occasional wildlife including black bears! This cozy, well-equipped condo / suite (~300ft2) is in the basement of our home with assigned parking and private entrance. There are several outdoor spaces for you to enjoy including multiple sitting areas with firepits (1 is creekside), 2 hammock areas, and a playground area that includes: large tree house, trampoline, bench swing, 4 swings, flat-ish greenway (medow), cargo net / ropes course, 190ft self-braking zipline, and creek access. Check out the second to last pic for map of our property for feature highlights, you'll have access to the whole property minus the deck. This space is ideal for 2 guests (queen size bed) but can accommodate up to 3 with our adult size roll away single bed (available upon request) or on the loveseat (for guests under 4’-6” / 55” tall). Additional bedding can be provided if requested (including for the loveseat). The suite has its own kitchenette with a sink, mini fridge w/ freezer, microwave, Foreman grill, coffee maker, & toaster. There is also an open closet area with rack for hanging clothes, a full private bathroom with tile shower, bedroom ceiling fan, electric fireplace for ambience, high-speed internet (WiFi), Alexa for music, and a 32” TV with Roku including Netflix, Hulu, Disney +, and local stations for you to enjoy when not outside enjoying the beautiful scenes.

Fun for everyone! Private and yet still close to town. Great recommendations and spots for activities and food. Was very responsive and always helped the best they could. Great place for everyone as each person can find something to do.
My parents and I had an extremely peaceful stay here. The hosts were attentive, responsive, and very welcoming. We loved the outdoor activities area with the hammocks!

Creekside Getaway is a newly renovated space in an older home located in a safe established wooded neighborhood with private parking and a well-lit walking path leading around to back of the lower garage to private entrance. Homes are spread out and the neighborhood is very peaceful, private, & quite. We only get local traffic - maybe 20 vehicles/day.
You’ll have an assigned parking spot in front of our trailer. You’ll walk down our lower paved driveway and along the flagstone path to the private entrance on the backside of our lower garage. The neighborhood is very walkable but also hilly in many areas. If you’re up for brisk walk, you can walk around and find some great views. No side walks but with limited traffic, it’s very peaceful. Our neighborhood only has one entrance so no through traffic. As you walk 30min, you will likely encounter other walkers & maybe 3 vehicles. Locals are very respectful. If biking is more your speed, the center of town is a short, (mostly) downhill bike trip away…just be prepared for the climb back up!
There’s an abundance of wildlife, however the animals are very shy & timid so you won’t be encountered by a bear but they see you & you may see one or a few from afar.

Our family has called Black Mountain home since 2017. We are both South Carolinians, but a job change lead us to these incredible mountains. We still marvel at the beauty of this creation. We love the outdoors, college football (Clemson & GA Tech), making BBQ, backyard bonfires, good food, our active church, and whatever activities our kids are involved in.
