The House: The house is a mix of old and new, creating a space for you and loved ones to settle in, slow down, and feel at home. Stay naturally cool throughout the day thanks to the house's traditional Goan architecture, while also enjoying modern conveniences like Wi-Fi and power backup. Throw down a yoga mat or boogie down with friends on our restored tile floors with plenty of space to move around both indoors and outside. In the house you'll find two bedrooms with comfortable queen-sized Wakefit mattresses and a smaller bedroom with a single mattress, two bathrooms, a fully functional kitchen, dining area, indoor and outdoor group seating, power backup, and Wi-Fi. Please note that our house is not equipped with an AC unit, but you'll find that the house is comfortable without one. The kitchen is stocked with foodies and good cooking in mind. Along with essentials like a refrigerator, gas stovetop, blender, and cookware, you'll also find thoughtful touches like a spice box, coffee mokapot, water filter, and mortar and pestle. If you're not looking to cook, there are local restaurants within a 10 minute walk from our property (that also deliver) and other popular Agonda eateries within short driving distance. The Red Emerald Property: Wake up to the sound of laughing hornbill birds and views of tall coconut trees from this peaceful house located on the Red Emerald property — a lush, private garden space surrounded by paddy fields and jungle. In addition to this house, we host two cottages on the other far end of the property, which still provides house guests with plenty of privacy. Common sites and sounds include gray langur monkeys, hornbills, giant squirrels, white-bellied forest rats, and Indian peacocks. If you look closely you will also see splendid and colorful spiders, frogs, lizards, and geckos. Guests who are open to sharing their living spaces with these creatures will feel at home on our property.
