Casita on the Summit was perfect for my family! We wanted a getaway to be close to nature while also having the option for driving into nearby cities for experiences. Pilar and Chris made our stay extremely comfortable. The cabin is thoughtfully designed with the amenities one would need for spending their time away from a busy area. I especially appreciated the sweet, personalized details left for us in celebration of a birthday.
Beautiful home nestled in the woods. A perfect stop for my small family, we felt right at home. Our daughter loved walking around the property and the living space was comfortable and spacious. 2nd bedroom was perfect for our travel crib with pitch black nights for sound sleep.
Great place to relax after a training
Pilar & Chris are what I consider the perfect and most ideal Airbnb Hosts. The house was just as described. Made us feel right ay home. They were extremely helpful and communicative which made us feel cared for and important. They are genuinely kind people who just want you to have a beautiful time at their beautiful little cottage. Would highly recommend to anyone and will most definitely be back.

Mt. Madonna County Park is 2 miles away and offers wonderful different level hiking trials and picnic areas (a parking fee applies)
The Buddhist Monastery is walking distance and at times is open for the public.
Mount Madonna Center welcomes guests with prior reservations to their Sankat Mochan Hanumān Temple. Reservation usually opens a week in advance. Plan accordingly if you would like to visit the Temple.
There are paved road and hiking trails for a photo walk where you can capture images of nature and wildlife.
We are in a remote location with very few neighbors nearby; however, at times a neighbor may have an afternoon activity lasting an hour or two that is heard from our property.
Guests must drive to get to our property; however, once here guests can walk around and explore the neighborhood, hiking trails and the different spots where the Monterey Bay can be seen.

We reside in Cali and love all it has to offer but we are deeply in love with PR. We work in the tech and education industries doing what we can to make the world a little better place.
