Beautiful drive into a welcoming property. Windy roads/ driveways would have been confusing without the hosts clear instructions! Easy and safe parking, epic views and hosts flexibility made arrival very easy. Serene and quite setting, paired with clean, stocked and functioning treehouse! Made me feel right at home.

We've stayed on Mary Jane's property several times now but this was our first time in the Treehouse and it was a delight! It is built around the trunks of two huge redwoods so you feel connected to the forest but still have hot water and electricity. Who needs wi-fi and cell reception anyway? Treat yourself to a movie marathon from the sizable collection of DVDs, cook up a storm, or go for a hike to check out some great views. My partner and I treated ourselves to 3 nights for our anniversary and we left feeling refreshed and restored. The Treehouse is a short hike in and out to the parking area so don't overpack! Thanks for another great stay, Mary Jane!

Beautiful. Sharing a room with a Redwood tree and views of trees out every window. A fully functioning bathroom as well as kitchen. Fantastic! Everything in the treehouse was as expected or better. The bed is a bit high, which might be fun for younger folk, but there is a useful step stool next to the closet/wardrobe. The quarter mile trail to & from the treehouse is the best and worst part of being deep in the mountains. I'd love to have a beautiful trail like that near my house to go hiking at. I'm older, out of shape, and have a few health issues, so we had to carefully take our time hauling two days of food and clothing Luckily, I was prepared for that after reading a few reviews. When we weren't carrying stuff we really enjoyed it and went back and forth to the car often. There were more people & noise than expected, but worth it. There is a fully paved route to the treehouse, but my GPS took me through a long dirt road with lots of puddles and ruts, it was quite an adventure.

You can’t imagine how amazing this little place is. I can see how many efforts Mary Jane and her family have made to build and decorate this tree house. Felt like in a fairy tale! I highly recommend it!

There is a part of this review that asks if it was a good deal. It was a good deal if you are only thinking of money. It was an exceptional deal if you are considering spiritual benefits. Highly recommend.
