Pros: La ubicacion esta muy bien por que tienes una playa bastante larga y muy bonita justo delante del alojamiento. El sitio es muy bonito, ya que es muy tranquilo y tienes varias hamacas. El snorkel nos gusto mucho. Contras: El dia que llegamos y despues de comer alli, nos pusimos enfermos (fiebre y diarrea), y el personal no tuvo una buena actitud con nosotros. Cuando no podiamos comer lo que preparaban (por que todo nos sentaba mal), no nos ofrecian ninguna alternativa y ponian malas caras (nisiquiera valorando la posibilidad de que nos hubiese sentado mal su comida). Tampoco nos preguntaron en ningun momento como nos encontrabamos. Ademas, habia una manada de perros (una hembra y varios machos) y estaban todo el dia abusando de ella, mordiendola y ladrandole (dormimos realmente mal por que se pasaban la noche ladrando y persiguiendo a la hembra y mordiendola). Nos parecio bastante mal que el personal no hacia absolutamente nada al respecto para proteger a la hembra.

The Long Beach Resort is really a piece of haeven. The beach at the high tide is just beautiful. The family over there was really friendly and helped us out where they could. Samantha is a really good cook and the food was real Fiji, what we enjoyed. As Christopher said, this is not a resort. It is more like a home stay. The rooms are really basic and bathrooms are not really clean. The beds are really uncomfortable and hard to sleep. As long as the fan runs it is ok. But at the time the electricity runs off the room heats quickly up. The Beach bungalows are a way better due to the nice sea breeze compared to the garden bungalows. It would be nice if they just organize some sun chairs or if they could fix their hammocks. Because there are not many possibilities to lay down and read a book. If you would like to see real Fiji way of life and if you want to spend time with lovely locals and you have no problems with terrible beds and hot rooms, then it would be your place to be.

The resort urgently needs some refurbishment, the both is ugly and the predicted mosquitonet was not there. Only after intensive request an old net with many holes was provided which we had the fix on our own. The food was good but nearly no fruits. The matress was very thin the the iron bars of the bed were making a pain in the back. No electricity was predicted in our room during the night but it was only provided between 6pm and 11pm. The location is great and the tours to the cave and the blue lagoon can be recommended but the 4 days at the resort were more a challenge.

The Long Beach Family were the most friendly people we met in Fiji. Lunch and dinner were very good - we had fresh fish almost every day. We missed fruits though. They had drinking water for free. The beach is nice and long ;) Just concider to only be able to swim and snorkel at high tide, as almost everywhere in the Yasawas. We were there in the rainy season, so lots of moskitos - bring enough repellent! Bula for being so friendly!

Vinaka for everything! So amazing stay here in Long beach. We felt like part of the family there. Simple, but nice and clean rooms. The food was so delicious.
