I have 2 separate reviews. Firstly the lodge - we really enjoyed our stay. The people are so friendly and helpful. The cabins are primitive, definitely, but we didn't mind that. The beach was lovely with swimming available close by and the views were amazing. Food was good and tasty. There are some entertainment and excursion available, but excursion offered doesn't at all match the listing. Secondly, Airbnb review. The ppl who run the lodge and the ppl who list it on Airbnb are not the same. So we arrived on the island after 24 hours of travel to discover they had no record of our reservation. There's very limited internet on the island and we had no way of leaving. We were panicking for sure. They ended up making room for us but it was stressful. Also there's a LOT about the listing that doesn't match what is offered. Overall I do recommend staying here, especially if you enjoy glamping and like a peaceful, friendly place The people who run the lodge really are great.

The place itself is simply just paradise! We enjoyed our time lounging in one of the various hammocks, looking at the sea and simply doing nothing. In the morning, we joined the tours (snorkeling and caves, but there need to be at least 4 people to do this!) and one afternoon we were able to visit the village. The lodge is simple but we didn't miss anything. The food was delicious and we were able to buy bottled water instead of drinking the complimentary rain water. There was also a small bar where you could purchase beer and soft drinks. One evening the staff showed us some tipical Fiji dances. All in all, we had a great stay and could definitely relax!

The entire crew at Nabua Lodge were extremely friendly and hospitable! The meals cooked were also good - we even did a dance together one of the nights. :) Location was beautiful. Bathrooms could use a bit of a revamp and electricity doesn’t work 24/7 so can get really humid - but if you’re ok with that then go for it! It’s a lodge and not a resort - so expect to be surrounded by nature sounds & all that comes with it… 😊

amazing stay on a remote island! they picked me up from the Yawasa flyer and took me to my beach front bungalow. the accommodation is very basic but incredible value for the price. the meal plan is 60 dollars per day and you get loads of food with it. I am a vegetarian and definitely did not go hungry. There are no shops/ATM's on the island so make sure you hve everything you need before you go.

Nous avons passés un merveilleux séjour au Nabua Lodge. La famille est extraordinaire, tous gentils et très serviable. Ils feront tout pour que vous passiez un bon séjour. Nous avons adorés nous détendre dans les hamacs et faire des activités super proposées par le Lodge ! La nourriture est très bonne et variée ! Si vous cherchez un endroit paradisiaque, paisible et authentique, je recommande vivement !
