The "Baker" is in the heart of Cranbrook's historic downtown with pubs, restaurants, a grocery store, and unique shops all within throwing distance. This beautiful old brick hotel (circa 1923) has an amazing art deco charm. Our brand new "Clawfoot Suite" has been redone with a classic piece of Clawfoot tub that gives warmth and style to the bathroom. The Suite includes a King sized bed with a dedicated workspace , AC, TV with cable, high-speed internet and a coffee bar. Pamper yourself and relax

The Baker Hotel is in the heart of Cranbrook's downtown! the Firehall pub, Heidout restaurant, Sakura Sushi, Safeway grocery store, the Kootenay Roasting Company, Soulfood, Max's Place, Cranbrook Art Council, Community Theatre, etc, etc, its all within a couple blocks. This is a safe, walkable downtown with a unique charm.
The main bus stops are right near the hotel. Cranbrook is very easy to walk around, no big hills or complex street systems. Downtown parking is free overnight and on weekends. We have a parking lot located on 11th Ave directly across from The Baker Hotel.
