Grainne’s place is a great set up - bedrooms on two levels which allowed for privacy. The house is close to the private beach and pier owned by the community. We spent many hours hunting fossils with good results. Although there are no restaurants or stores within walking distance, nothing is a far drive. We found several restaurants we enjoyed with great views of the Bay. We look forward to our next trip back to Grainne’s lovely home!

As advertised and so much more! I am very picky about cleanliness and when the listing says sparkling clean, it wasn’t an exaggeration. We felt right at home! This house is well stocked in every way… kitchen has everything we needed and more (even crockpot), outdoor necessities (beach towels, fishing equipment, fossil hunting mesh bags, buckets and shovels, kayaks and life jackets), devices (echo, clocks, nightlight), and entertainment (electric keyboard, foosball, board games, toys, books). The beds were super comfy and the sofa too. Plenty of trundles and extra places to sleep so that our family of 6 could spread out. And the darkening blinds were great! The beach was a short walk (1/2 block) and close enough to carry the kayaks. We found several shark teeth and fossils as well. No luck catching crabs or fish but enjoyed trying. It was really nice to have both beach and pier access. Additionally, the back patio with turf was a nice spot to soak up the sun. Highly recommend!

We were looking for a place to stay that was away from traffic and had nice surroundings. This place was exactly that and the descriptions are very accurate. A clean, modern place that had room to accomodate our family of 5 with no problem. The beach and pier area were enjoyed by all of us and most of the time we had large areas all to ourselves to explore. If you are looking for a place to get away, I would recommend this listing if you have plans of staying in the Balt / DC area, as each are a reasonable distance for day trips. We went to DC for a day, Six Flags another day, and a couple of O's games as well.
