We stayed during the Easter weekend 2024. The accommodation is so modern and quirky. Real attention and thought has been made to the interior. We really loved the animal / elephant theme. The accommodation was spotless. The accommodation has all the utensils, cooking facilities, coffee machine - turkey a home away from home. The location was perfect to amenities. 2 min drive to the local premier shop. The accommodation is close (about 5 min drive) to beautiful walks to large fields with sheep roaming. A short 15 min drive to the Goliath Falls, with a smoke house / coffee / rest room facilities. There is a pub called the crows nest which serves amazing food. Not a negative but something to note - If you stay with animals you need to bring a long lead or stake in the garden as the garden is not closed off and dogs can go into other gardens / road.

If you have this gem of a place in your favourites or are unsure take the opportunity while you can and book up. We have come home from the most relaxed few days over Christmas. To say this place was stunning is an understatement. Everything was immaculate. I can't imagine the time it took to make everything this perfect. There was nothing that wasn't thought of. It was like a home away from home. We settled in lovely. The surroundings area was gorgeous. Although we didnt need to leave and the weather wasnt great we were still able to make what we could of the lovely places to walk nearby. Thankyou so much for making our Christmas. X

We had an absolutely brilliant stay & the lodge was suberb! We felt very chillaxed & rested .Our Colliedoddle thoroughly enjoyed himself ! Kelly the host was brilliant & her communication was brilliant. The lodge is of a high standard & extremely clean !

Beautiful lodge. Kelly really has put thought into decorating the place enabling us to feel very much at home. Her style is amazing, everything matching and good quality furnishings. Was very clean and tidy and there was everything you need. She definitely deserves these great reviews. Beautiful location, views over the fields and horses closeby. I hope everyone who stays there appreciates it like we did and looks after the place. Was not disappointed. Thanks Kelly. Julie.
