You approach The Nest along a secluded private lane to be welcomed by spectacular views of the Puget Sound, overlooking Fay Bainbridge beach. Nestled in the trees with just a handful of properties, this idyllic cottage is the perfect spot to relax and recharge. You’ll wake up to gorgeous views across the water to the sun rising over the Cascade mountains. Stroll down to the neaby beach , spotting wildlife along the way. Return to the secluded front porch to enjoy your morning coffee . The Nest has everything you need for a cozy stay – curl up on the champagne couch to watch a movie or spread out on the sleeper couch with a good book or glass of wine. The open kitchen has everything you need to rustle up a meal with a central island and bar stools, perfect for hanging out and enjoying the conversation. Tucked away from the living space is the bedroom featuring a comfy queen size bed and ample storage. The convenient bathroom and shower are accessed from the kitchen area.

Such a cozy and beautiful weekend getaway from Seattle! The place was spotless and had great views. It was a perfect size for my husband, dog and myself and had all the necessities and more. Just a short drive to all the restaurants. Would definitely recommend.
We had an incredible time at Bainbridge, and no small part of this was due to our stay at the Nest. The cottage is spotless and in a great location in the island. We would go back in a heartbeat.

This cottage is idyllic. We stayed on a chilly spring weekend, and all the windows and skylights made it super bright inside, and we could see the water from every room (except the bathroom). The views are especially lovely from the bedroom. The space was perfect for our family of 3, plus our small dog. My daughter slept comfortably on the pull-out couch, but I would have found it too firm and short for sleeping myself. The kitchen was well equipped, but note that the fridge is tiny. Note: while you can see the water from the cottage, there is no beach access from the cottage without a short and pleasant (on the street) walk down to Fay Bainbridge Park.

The Rolling Bay Neighborhood is at the North end of the Island, just 10 minutes from downtown Winslow. Close to Bay Hay and Feed, an Island gem and Carly's super-cute Carly’s coffee shop. Jiffy Mart is near by for anything you may need during your stay.
Public transport is rather limited on the Island. Kitsap Transit offers a bus service but ride-share's like Uber are extremely limited. We have two taxis companies working on the Island (Viking Cab and Taxi and Tours) but these are not always available. If you are not bringing your own car, we would suggest you rent a car. We have a super-cute mini convertible available for rent through the platform Turo. For more information, please just ask or take a look at the Turo website.
